Annie Leibovitz is one of my favourite photographers of all time. She captures feeling like no other.

This book is an exposé on her working life and her ascendant to what she is now.

In my opinion, this is an honest perspective of the life of a hard-working human being.

She talks about her family, and the way she felt in the world, one of the things that resonated with me was the fact that she explores real situations in a poetic style.

So I thought to use my day to day material and create a few episodes, in which I talk a bit about my relationship with models and how I usually conduct a personal shoot.

The primary purpose of these shoots is to increase knowledge and have improvised situations to adapt, in the long term, have solutions when in actual client work.

"Looking at photographs" is not an ordinary technical book about photography and how to achieve the best results with your gear.

This book is about understanding where did photography come from, how did it evolve, and how people's perception changed alongside.

The focal length 35 mm on my the Fuji GFX camera produces images similar to those from a 27mm lens on a 35mm full-frame sensor. It is a perfect choice for that dramatic shot, or to increase a small room, it's not super wide, like the GF23mm from Fuji.

The Distagon is still one of the best lenses I have, and I use it when I'm trying to convey the real world into these light-capturing machines.
